The BIG COMMIT Training

Did you know that 80% of New Year's resolutions have failed by mid-February? To that, we say "SO WHAT?"

We are here to help you COMMIT to being a new you!! It's about changing your mindset, adjusting your lifestyle and becoming the best version of yourself. Whether you want to run or walk your first 5K or improve your 5K finish time, this training program is for you.

This training program is a 10 week session where you will get a weekly workout schedule and train as a group once a week. Your coach, mentors, and new friends, will make this program a fun challenge!  We not only help you build your strength and endurance, but your confidence and knowledge to continue this healthier and faster lifestyle.

This program will consist of three sections.

  1. No Boundaries: Path to 5K training for newbies or those who need to refresh their running skills.
  2. Walk FIT: Training for those who aren't quite ready to run, but desire to increase their walk speed and finish a 5K in competitive time.
  3. Speed Demons: Speed training for those who wish to complete drills designed to improve the 5K finish time.


Informational Meeting: March 22, 2018 at 7pm, Fleet Feet Sports Montgomery

Training Begins: April 4, 2018

When are the Group Training Sessions? Wednesday Evenings @ 6:00pm 

Where do we meet? All practices will start from Fleet Feet Sports Montgomery

How much does this program cost? $70.00 (includes registration for The BIG RUN 5K)

As part of the BIG COMMIT training program, participants will receive the following:

  • A 10 week training program and calendar with workouts provided to you
  • Dedicated support and individual attention from your Coach and Mentors
  • Weekly group training sessions
  • Fleet Feet Running Club technical tee and corresponding patch
  • Entry to the BIG RUN 5K
  • Information clinics on topics such as proper footwear, injury prevention, and nutrition
  • Accountability for your participation from your Coach and Mentors
  • The camaraderie of others like you with the same goal!
