Law Enforcement Torch Run

Have you ever heard of the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR)? Did you even know that it existed and what its for?

The LETR happens each year in conjunction with the Special Olympics.  The LETR raises awareness and funds for the Special Olympics not just in the US but all around the world.  This year we have the honor of helping out Captain George Beaudry of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office as he prepares for the final leg of the LETR in Austria in 2017.  George was selected to represent not just Montgomery, AL but the US in the final leg of the LETR at the 2017 Special Olympics World Winter Games.

As George prepares for this Final Leg, we will be coaching him along to make sure he represents Montgomery to the highest level.  We will also be working with George to help raise funds for the Special Olympics.  Check out the first of several news stories that will be covering George's journey HERE
